The Hestia Micro is a 10 kW Bitcoin-mining furnace for homes and small commercial buildings. Three ASIC miners are the heat source: every watt they draw becomes warm air for the building, and every hour the furnace runs, it earns. Set a target temperature on the touchscreen or in the Hestia app and the controller does the rest, balancing heat demand against mining economics around the clock. Cold intake air lets the Micro run its miners harder than their factory settings, and a mechanical high-temperature switch on the miner exhaust caps power automatically if it ever needs to, independent of any software.

Damper control (about $0.10/kWh and below): miners run flat out, and motorized dampers send the heat into the building when it is needed and outdoors when it is not. Maximum bitcoin, year-round.
Miner throttle ($0.07 to $0.13/kWh): miners scale to match heat demand. At reduced power the bitcoin output falls less than the power draw, so this is the lowest cost per bitcoin the unit can achieve.
Combined ($0.13/kWh and above): dampers and throttle work together to track the building's heat demand precisely. Mine only what the building can use as heat.

The onboard touch PLC and the Hestia app are purpose-built, not off-the-shelf. Thermostat-first automation balances heat delivery against mining uptime, hands-off, 24/7. Motorized dampers blend recirculated and outside air, and when heat is not needed the unit exhausts outdoors so mining never pauses.
Live telemetry covers airflow, duct static pressure, filter life and intake temperature. Mining is visible at a glance: per-miner hashrate and power draw, with drill-down to power history and individual miner control, refreshed every 30 seconds, earnings tracked in BTC and CAD.
